History

Domaine Chandon was founded by the prestigous Champagne house Moet & Chandon in 1986. The Green Point vineyard in the Yarra Valley was chosen for it's location in a cool climate area with perfect conditions & ideal soil for growing the classic sparkling wine grape varieties. Domaine Chandon upholds the time honoured tradition of producing methode traditionnelle sparkling wines, released under the Chandon name, whilst cool climate elegance signifies the Green Point still wine range.
