History

Vineyard planted in 1978 to Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon by Dr Malcolm Lovegrove. Won International wine award for 1988 Chardonnay in that year. Cellar Door opened in 1991. Labels represent artwork by world renowned Australian painter, Clifton Pugh. All wines are estate grown & made by winemaker/owner, Stephen Bennett. Won Victorian award for 2000 Chardonnay. To this day the Chardonnay & Cabernet Merlot are beautiful drinking, complex & powerful wines that speak of the soils & location of this special vineyard site. Other specialties are the Petillant Methode Champenoise, much loved by those who can acquire it & the Quest Cabernet, a very rich version of this Yarra Valley red. Also look out for varietal Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot & Merlot from good years.
